Martyn Falkous


A PADI Course Director with over 4500 dives under his belt, with experience of managing a 5* IDC centre in Egypt along with a host of technical diving qualifications including re-breather instructor. Also has much experience in Equipment selection advice and teaching/guiding divers. Martyn can teach in English, French and German and claims to be able to speak Italian and says that his Portuguese is "getting there!".

Martyn is now teaching DSAT Tec Rec and Tec Trimix Instructors as well as DAN Instructors and EFR/EFR Care for Children instructors.

A Padi Staff Instructor joined the Dive Time Crew in February 2008, has a great passion for diving and the environment, getting people involved in the sport whether it is teaching beginners, guiding divers or conducting continuing education courses.

Nicknamed “Eco Eddie” because of the underwater clean ups and dedication to Project Aware, Eddie is a Coral Watch co-ordinator for project aware in this region, sending data for scientists to monitor changes in the environment, as well as keeping our ocean floor clean with Clean Up days.

As well as teaching beginners up to Assistant Instructors he also teaches Emergency First Response courses, and Specialties including Deep, Digital Underwater Photography, Enriched Air (NITROX) Night and Wreck. All of these courses can be taught in English, Português or German.
